1° Day: Arrival in Matera
Welcome to magical Matera. After arrival and check-in at the hotel, take a moment to savor the unique atmosphere of this thousand-year-old city, where time seems to stop.
2° Day: The Sassi, traditions and nature
Start your day by exploring the Sassi of Matera in a labyrinth of history and culture. Discover the ancient local arts: tufaroli, ceramics, whistles, bread stamps, papier-mâché and oil. Enter a cave house and a rock church, living testimonies of a life carved into the rock. Visit a traditional oven with lesson and tasting.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the Murgia Materana Park with a relaxing walk and an aperitif at sunset, among the scents of nature.

3° Day: Murgecchia and the ancient caves
Departure for the prehistoric site of Murgecchia, not far from Matera, where landscapes of primordial charm await you among the caves, see the Crypt of Original Sin, a place of rare beauty and mystery.
End the day with a special aperitif at Dragone, to savor the authentic flavors of this land.

4° Day: Authentic villages and flavours
Discover La Martella and Timmari, two villages where time has stopped and tradition is the protagonist. Take part in a culinary lesson with Cesarine, local families who open their doors to share recipes and stories.

Day 5 – Farewell & Departure
This morning, we will part ways and say arrivederci to this magical city of Italy. Private transfers are provided to Bari Airport and the train station for your onward journey.
