Day 1: Palermo City – Art, History, and Flavors – Free Time
Your journey begins in fascinating Palermo. After arriving independently, transfer by private driver to your hotel in the Palermo area. After settling in, enjoy a free afternoon for a tour of the city, soaking up the atmosphere amidst monuments, squares, and views that recount centuries of history. Palermo is intense, authentic, and surprising: a perfect first taste of Sicily. Dinner and overnight stay in Palermo.
Day 2: Monreale and Palermo
Breakfast and check-out. Departure by private driver for Monreale. Meet your local guide and tour the splendid Arab-Norman Cathedral and the elegant Benedictine Cloister. Transfer to Palermo and enjoy lunch on your own to discover Palermo's street food.
In the early afternoon, continue with a guided tour of Palermo, the island's capital: the Cathedral, the Teatro Massimo, the Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria, and the historic markets, the authentic heart of local life. In the afternoon, transfer with a private driver to Marsala, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Zingaro Nature Reserve and San Vito Lo Capo
Breakfast and departure with a private driver to Bonagia, an ancient fishing village steeped in the tradition of tuna fishing, where the Saracen Tower and the Museum of Maritime Activities preserve the stories of men, nets, boats, and seasons marked by the rhythm of the sea. We continue to Custonaci, with the evocative Grotta Mangiapane, a place where time seems to have stood still: houses nestled in the rock, tiny alleys, family stories that emerge like fragments of simple and authentic life. Lunch is free. In the afternoon, the extraordinary natural panorama of the Macari coast, a succession of bays, promontories, and silences overlooking an intense sea, before reaching San Vito Lo Capo, with its dazzling white, golden sand, and enveloping blue landscape. Transfer with a private driver to Marsala. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Breakfast and departure with a private driver for the Parco delle Cave and the Sanctuary of the Holy Father of Perriere, where the stone evokes the memory of labor and a landscape patiently shaped by man. In the morning, a short tasting lunch featuring local products, made right here in these areas, is planned, an authentic testimony to a zero-mile production that speaks of tradition and quality. In the afternoon, we reach the Stagnone Reserve, among mills, salt pans, and waters that shimmer pink and gold depending on the light. We'll conclude the day with a tasting of Marsala wine and other local wines at a historic Marsala winery. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 5: Medieval Erice and Trapani between sea and salt. Breakfast and departure with a private driver for Erice. Meet your local guide and tour the medieval village suspended between sea and sky. When available, it's possible to reach the village by cable car, enjoying views that encompass the coast, the salt pans, and the islands in the distance. Stop at a pastry shop in the center to sample the famous Genovesi Erice and other traditional sweets. Lunch is free. In the afternoon, the group heads down to Trapani for a stroll through the historic center, among buildings and alleys overlooking the sea. On the return journey to Marsala, the journey along the Via del Sale offers new perspectives on the salt pans and mills. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Breakfast and check-out. Departure with a private driver for the airport.
