Day 1 – Arrival in Bari & First Impressions

Arrival in Bari marks the start of your Apulian escape. After check-in at a selected pet-friendly hotel in the city center, follow the seafront promenade to take in the views over the Adriatic and let the gentle breeze welcome both you and your pet to Puglia. In the evening, savor local specialties such as Bari-style focaccia and panzerotti in a traditional trattoria with outdoor seating.

Day 2 – Authentic Bari & Coastal Strolls

This day is dedicated to discovering the soul of Bari at a relaxed pace. A guided walking tour introduces you to the basilicas, elegant squares, and craft workshops of the old town, while your pet accompanies you along shaded lanes and stone courtyards.

Lunch with experience and free time.

Day 3 – Trani, Castel del Monte & Polignano a Mare

In the morning, depart by minivan for Castel del Monte, the iconic octagonal fortress set among gentle hills. While the interior may have access restrictions for pets, the surrounding paths offer a scenic setting for easy walks and memorable photos.

We move toTrani, a charming seaside town known for its Romanesque cathedral overlooking the sea and its lively marina. Stroll along the harbor and through the historic center, where limestone buildings and sea views create a uniquely elegant atmosphere.

Lunch or experience.

In the afternoon, reach Polignano a Mare and check in at a pet-friendly accommodation. Here, dramatic cliffs, panoramic terraces, and white alleys invite you to wander at sunset over the Adriatic. Free time.

Day 4 – Polignano and Alberobello – Night in Ostuni

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour through Polignano a Mare, with time to admire its terraces suspended above the sea. Lunch or experience. Then travel to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the famous trulli – the traditional conical-roofed houses – create a fairy-tale landscape. A guided visit reveals the history and symbolism of these unique buildings, while you explore the lanes at a gentle pace.

We will reach Ostuni, the “White City”, where check-in is arranged at a carefully selected pet-friendly hotel. An evening stroll through the old town, perched on a hill and glowing in the twilight, completes the day. Free dinner.

Day 5 – Ostuni & Lecce – Night in Lecce

The morning is dedicated to Ostuni and its charming historic center, where narrow streets, viewpoints and small squares overlook the surrounding countryside and the distant sea. Depending on the season, there is the possibility of a short excursion to the nearby coast, where some stretches of beach are suitable for guests traveling with dogs.

Lunch or experience.

In the afternoon, departure for Lecce, the baroque capital of Salento. After check-in at a pet-friendly hotel, where you can have a first orientation walk to its piazzas, stone palaces, and ornate churches. The warm golden stone and the relaxed rhythm of the city offer the perfect backdrop for an evening aperitivo in one of the lively squares.

Day 6 – Baroque Lecce & Salento Flavors

This day focuses on the artistic and gastronomic treasures of Lecce and its surroundings. A guided tour reveals the secrets of Lecce’s baroque architecture, from intricately sculpted façades to elegant cloisters, while your pet can accompany you through the streets and open-air spaces of the historic center.

Luch or experience.

The evening in Lecce invites you to enjoy local cuisine, from orecchiette to pasticciotto, in a welcoming and authentic atmosphere.

Day 7 – Breakfast & Departure

After breakfast,private transfers can be arranged to reach Bari airport or your onward destination, bringing your Apulian journey to a close with lasting memories of landscapes, flavors, and shared experiences.
